Static timelapse is a thing of the past. Pans across landscape, dollys along foreground object add a whole new depth to the scene. Now there is a new tool to create just about any motion that you can think of-the Timelapsecrane.

The Timelapsecrane was designed and built by Paulo Castillo in his continuing quest to create new tools for shooting timelapse. The crane is a telescoping arm that can swing, arm up/down/in/out, pan/tilt the head, and control the camera all in one coordinated move.

The crane works with DSLR's, the perfect lightweight high resolution tool for timelapse. Due to the light weight of the cameras, the crane is much less massive than a traditional moco rig allowing for easier transport and faster set ups.
